The Performance Module offers maximum comfort and durability, being also a quick and simple assembly solution.

The Gaptek system allows the design and construction of semi-permanent bases that are assembled in a short time and can be easily disassembled, transported and relocated reusing more than 80% of the material.

Housing modules 

The Performance modules designed as housing units offer the greatest comfort and isolation to provide military personnel with a high quality rest.

Field hospitals 

Gaptek has developed a medical solution designed to perform hospital activities of Role 3, including operating rooms and half-stay hospitalisation, thanks to its ability to adapt and create an interconnected complex and the high quality of its finishes.

Storage units 

The Storage Performance Modules are designed to safely store any type of good, even in places where the weather conditions are extreme, as is the case of the Gaptek module in the Gabriel de Castilla Military Base in Antarctica.

The offices can be adapted in terms of size, use of the interior space and access doors, which can be installed individually, as an office complex, or annexed to a Gaptek hangar/building or an existing hangar/building.

What structural materials are used by Gaptek?

Gaptek has developed a construction system based on prefabricated profiles and dry joints, using aluminum as the structural material for the advantages it has as opposed to traditional construction and its great adaptability.

The advantages of aluminum as structural material as opposed to steel are numerous, such as the optimization and customization of the profiles according to its specific use, as compared with steel’s standard and normalized profiles, the lightness of the profiles and its resistance, the low maintenance thanks to the anticorrosive properties of aluminum and its total recyclability.

How is the Performance module assembled?

The Performance module can be quickly and easily assembled 100% by military personnel, following the assembly manual and after receiving training from Gaptek, always under the supervision of a Gaptek technician.

Thanks to the lightness of aluminum profiles, the structural materials optimization and the simple assembly of our system using dry joints, it is not required to use very heavy machinery or large cranes to assemble our modules. Only ordinary machinery such as lifting platforms and telescopic cranes.

What are the possible uses/functions of the Performance module?

The Performance module can be used as housing modules, offices, storage and field hospitals, as for common spaces such as dining rooms, dressing rooms, kitchens, toilets, etc.
